Sin una historia que contar,

muchas veces nos perdemos.

Pues sin aprender ni reflexionar,

muy lejos no llegaremos.

Cuando sea bravo el mar

asegúrate del timón,

no vayas a encallar.

 

Muchos te echarán de menos.

donde estén tus deseos.

 

Está bien desembarcar en algún puerto pesquero,

parar para pescar y conversar con algún timonero.

Más si encuentras a alguien que va en tu mismo camino,

y su barco ha encallado, amigo.

Actúa como lo harían contigo,

y hasta donde puedas, lleva contigo al naufragado.

Tal vez en el camino, aprendas de su error en aquel hundido barco.

 

Actúa con inteligencia frente al mar estanco,

disfruta de su presencia y admira su belleza.

Pero siempre iza las velas,

no hay que dejar que el mar en calma,

te gane en su carrera.

 

Tal vez un día pierdas el rumbo,

y en el frenesí de reencontrarte con tu destino,

te encuentres un paraje nuevo, distinto.

Aprovéchalo, llévate algo de lo que abunde

y aprecia con los sentidos lo que sea único. 

Cuida del que pueda ser el destino de otro que como tú,

quiera descubrir un nuevo mundo.

 

Se fiel a ti mismo timonel,

porque aunque puedas retroceder,

el ahora no va de la mano con el ayer.

Y aun cuando seas viejo y hayas varado,

cuenta tu historia a otros que, con brillo en sus ojos,
